Dear fellow students and TCC Faculty,

I just found out today that I will be UNABLE to attend the WSHIMA 2009 convention in Spokane (held at the Davenport Hotel)
after all as I am on the schedule those days for work.

I am very sorry about all of the fuss I made. Plus, I heard the snow on the mountain pass is pretty bad unless you will be flying into the convention.

As well, if you cannot go to WSHIMA 2009 out there in Spokane, it's a great way to find out about the goings on as well as getting some of the power point presentations from it (in zoomable pdf format) along with other downloadable handouts that go with certain presentations.


Also, if anyone going wants to bring back podcasts from the audio recordings that would be really neat....

If you are a Fall '08 HIM 210 Student who downloaded/copied various materials and audio components or someone enrolled in HIM 210 Spring 2009, I get together with you at some point (where we have access to a PC with internet) and download those materials from you? Especially the audio components for the Power Points? I was a nit-wit and didn't download everything before the Fall '08 HIM 210 web site went away. In return, I have all kinds of great (silent) power points from the AHIMA, WSHIMA, and TCC HIM conferences that I can share with you (i.e. on Revenue Cycle Management, Computer Assisted Coding, RAC Audits, and a whole bunch of other neat stuff --plus, I can try to help you on your homework)
